The aim of the Performing Arts Conference is to foster the exchange of experiences in the region through learning from each other’s examples or mistakes. The conference is also strongly European at the same time and wants to distance itself from all opinions trying to operate with various “ex”-labels or the exoticism of eastern-ness. Bearing in mind this is a European conference (without, of course, excluding participants from the cultural scene overseas), the topics will cover the roots, traditions as well as the future of the region.
